LFW Opens Its Doors To The Public

For the first time in its 36-year history, the wider public will be able to purchase tickets to LFW. The week, which will run from September 13th -17th, will include six ticketed runway shows on September 14th and 15th. For the opportunity to attend, the tickets will cost £135 for standard seating and £245 to sit front row. Guests will also have access to installations and panel discussion along with the DiscoveryLAB, a new concept which will be an experiential space where fashion meets art, technology and music.

The week will also include a Designer Exhibition space, which will aim to showcase new designers with attention to those who fall under the BFC’s #PositiveFashion initiative. Brands that represent the initiatives principals (sustainability, equality & diversity, craftsmanship and community) will also be given the opportunity to showcase.

Ultimately the BFC is looking to "make London Fashion Week a cultural city-wide celebration that will introduce fashion to a wider pool of people who may not have previously engaged with it or understand the incredible careers and opportunities that the industry holds."

The participating designers are yet to be announced but what would you pay to sit FROW and for which designer?
