Sales Account Manager

A recognisable name in the industry, my client is a supplier that has a strong customer base, consisting of high street retailers and department stores. The trend led company is currently looking for a driven Sales Account Manager who is passionate about product to join their team and really push and drive the business forward.

The Role:

  • Manage the development process for Buyers each season by working closely with the design team

  • Responsible for the price negotiation process between the factory and Buyers, ensuring the desired margins and targets are achieved

  • Oversee the critical path with the support of merchandising teams to ensure all specific requirements are adhered to

  • Identify areas of growth for the business and really drive it forward by generating new ideas and maximising on repeat business and sales, as well as opening new accounts

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience working in a similar Account Management role for a supplier to both UK and International retailers and the ability to build successful relationships

  • A strong commercial eye and the ability to foresee potential opportunities and use them to grow the business

  • Excellent negotiation skills, a decisive character and the command to implement new ideas quickly and efficiently

  • Accessories or Eyewear experience is desirable, but not essential
