Job Title: ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER
Job Definition: To support the Store Manager in operating a profitable store. Effective management of store operations and the store team.
Duties:
- Support the Store Manager in delivering store KPI’s, implementing actions to maximise sell out and profit opportunities.
- Manage store processes and adhere to operational guidelines to achieve optimum profitably
- Adhere to the Retail Operations Manual at all times
- Manage the team to deliver operational excellence and premium levels of customer service. Set and follow up clear objectives for performance and personal development. Provide on the job coaching.
- Ensure team are aware of daily and weekly sales targets and current store performance
- Drive store replenishment through the direct management of the team
- Ensure Sales Specialist team have outstanding product knowledge.
- Ensure company VM standards are delivered in order to drive commerciality
- Act as a sales ‘role model’ through the achievement of personal targets
- Recruit, select and induct high caliber team members that demonstrate the brand image and values
- Analyse commercial data and take appropriate action to ensure key KPI’s are achieved
- Fully deputise for Store Manager in their absence and take full responsibility for the store operation and team.
- Reflect the values of the brand with integrity and respect for others. Be seen as truthful, fair and trustworthy and demonstrate an enthusiasm and passion for the brand.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Manager within fashion retail
- Proven experience of delivering financial and KPI results
- Good commercial understanding of fashion retail and trends
- Customer focused attitude
- Motivational and people development skills to achieve excellent results
- A committed, professional and flexible approach
£15,000 - £23,000 + Bonus + Benefits
