Job Title: ASSISTANT MANAGER – OUTLET STORE

Job Definition: Responsibility for the smooth running of a store, maintaining the highest of standards within store

Duties:

  • To assist in recruit competent Staff who represent the Brand
  • To support the Manager in building a Team
  • Ensure that all products are displayed to the Company standard
  • Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements (Risk assessments) are carried out & maintained to company guidelines
  • Assist in ensuring all deliveries are unloaded, checked off and transferred to the sales floor quickly

Requirements:

  • General level of academic achievement although current assistant manager, department manager or team leader experience is more important
  • 1 to 2 years’ management team or higher supervisory experiences with a high profile multiple divisional high street store or high profile independent retailer
  • Demonstrates natural leadership skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to motivate and lead a team
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach and develop staff
  • Evidence of visual merchandising/commercial awareness
