Job Title: AREA MANAGER
Job Definition: Holds full responsibility for all retail aspects in the Area
Duties:
- Developing the management structure for the area, including recruitment, training and coaching
- Conducting structured store visits to ensure consistency, giving balanced open feedback to store managers and their teams
- Deliver budget plans on key costs areas, including wages and shrinkage, monthly monitoring of KPI targets, challenging all general expenditure, and ensuring profitability from the area
- Driving contribution through increased turnover and close control of all expenditure
- Consistently managing wage costs within budget
- Ensure staff provide the highest levels of customer service
- Progressing the business through developing working practises, setting up systems, skills development, setting standards
Requirements:
- At least 5 years management experience within a similar store
- Sales Driven
- Customer Focused
- Be able to motivate your team to achieve excellent results
- Proven Sales Track Record
- Profit and Loss experience
- Commercial awareness
£35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Benefits
