Job Title: E-COMMERCE MANAGER
Job Definition:
- Responsible for defining ad delivering initiatives to further improve the performance and identity of the online offer and customer experience.
- Responsible for driving, formulating and delivering the brand’s e-commerce strategy.
Duties:
- Constantly strive to improve the customer experience online through the development of a world class online platform
- Improve the conversion rate on the website through analysis of customer flow data
- Ensure that site developments are on-time, within budget and suited trading conditions
- Accountable and responsible for budget management within individual projects
- Ensure site maintenance is up to date and representative of the brand e.g. data integrity
- Commercially drive best sellers and improve under performing lines
- Proposed and project manages functional requirements and enhancements working cross-departmentally and with 3rd parties
- Keen understanding and experience of implementing usability best practice
Requirements:
- Strong, hands-on e-commerce experience
- Sound understanding of retail websites, their functionality and the growing market of e-commerce
- Results and customer service focused
- Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels
- Experience and knowledge of the practical application and importance of improving the customer journey by adopting best practice in usability, accessibility and analysis of website information
- Project management and 3rd party management experience
- High levels of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
Salary Scale - £30,000 - £40,000
