Buying and Merchandising:
Job Title: MERCHANDISER
Job Definition:
- Maximise profit potential by planning and delivering commercial levels of sales and stock.
- To deliver and manage with the buyer, team and company KPI’s and seasonal strategy
Duties:
- Work with the buyer to produce a commercial balanced range
- Analyse current / historical data to establish trend patterns
- Review external / internal price architecture to establish “right price”
- Review and appraise market share information
- Create department plans and revise forecasts
- Propose and negotiate seasonal KPI’s
- Manage options through range planning
- Create team strategy inline with business objectives
- Plan critical path ensuring promotion and supply deadlines are met
- Manage “Weekly Sales Stock and Intake”
- Commercial stock management
- Review & potentialise Best Sellers
- Manage risk & potentialisation
- Manage branch potentialisation through re-grading and replenishment
- Identify and manage department mark-downs & promotions
- Manage line monitors and line details
- Manage size ratios
Requirements:
- Proven track record driving the business forward
- Excellent commercial skills and knowledge of the market and competition
- Advanced analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Accurate with good attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to influence and negotiate effectively
£40,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Benefits
