Branch Merchandiser
Buying and Merchandising:
Job Title: BRANCH MERCHANDISER
Job Definition:
- Maximise sales across all stores, to plan correct space and range content for each store and to ensure correct stock levels at all times.
Duties:
- Ensure stock is balanced at branch level and department level
- Monitoring stock on a daily/weekly basis
- Branch contact for stores involving support via telephone and email
- Build and manage stock packages for new and existing branches
- Weekly analysis on branches at required level
- Analyse intake and sales forecasts
- Create and maintain new store package builds
- Undertake branch visits and review stock package accordingly
- Identify and take action on any observations and/or issues.
- Create and maintain analysis spreadsheets to assist in controlling stock levels
- Plan retail space and product requirements
- Review the grading of stores on a regular basis
Requirements:
- Previous branch allocation/merchandising experience
- Commercially aware and demonstrate a strong understanding of the market
- Possess good problem solving skills and the initiative to resolve issues
- Able to perform under pressure and work in a fast paced team environment
- Communicate effectively at all levels
- Manage time effectively by setting and achieving priorities and timescales
- Possess strong analytical/numerical skills
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel
