Net-a-Porter's New Digital Jewellery Space

EIP Privé is the latest edition to the Net-a-Porter collection where an online atelier will offer an exclusive assortment from the world’s most admirable jewellers and watchmakers. Officially launching on 3rd July 2019, EIP Privé will cater to collectors and consumers who are looking for customised and bespoke pieces.

“Building on the success of our fine jewellery and watch suite, we are delighted to introduce a special collection of exquisite, high jewellery pieces at Net-a-Porter,” said Alison Loehnis, president of Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter. “EIP Privé will offer clients a truly unique opportunity to discover the world’s most exclusive high jewellery maisons through a highly personalised, invitation-only service.”

When the EIP (extremely important people) views one of their spectacular pieces, they are able to request a private appointment with Net-a-Porter’s personal shopping team.

“It was only a few years ago that people believed fine jewellery – let alone high jewellery with its lofty price tags – was unsellable online,” commented Rachel Garrahan, Vogue jewellery and watch director. “Net-a-Porter is one of the online retailers demonstrating that this attitude is long behind us.”

Current ‘traditionally offline brands’ available on Net-a-Porter include Boghossian, Bina Goenka, Piaget and De Grisogono. Net-a-Porter plans to broaden its product category to watches and men’s jewellery in late in 2019.
